JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Director is responsible for the daily administration and services provided within the Department. The position ensures compliance with Tribal Personnel Policies and Procedures, applicable federal and state employment laws, and supports the mission, goals, and values of the Tribe. The Human Resources Director serves as an advisor to the Tribal Administrator, Executive Management, supervisors, and employees on personnel matters and provides leadership in the development and administration of human resources programs.

The Human Resources Director serves as an advisor to the Tribal Administrator, Executive Management, supervisors, and employees on personnel matters and provides leadership in the development and administration of human resources programs.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- BA or BS degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or Human Relations, AND a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management capacity with demonstrated experience serving in a high-level managerial or supervisory capacity, and/or a combination of education, training, and experience equal to 5 years can be substituted, which must be documented.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Possess a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Human Relations, or any closely related field from an accredited College or University with three (3) years of verifiable, successful work experience as an administrator or in a position of equal level or responsibility.
