DRAFT Foundation Web Page Content

Greetings!  Welcome to the NNAHRA Foundation Web Page.

On behalf of the NNAHRA Board of Directors, we are pleased to announce a 2020 milestone for the organization.  The Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit, is an independent yet collaborative division of the NNAHRA membership association founded 25 years ago.  This is the story, mission, vision and goals for your Indian Country Human Resources organization

Foundation and Association – A NNAHRA Partnering & Collaborative Organization:

NNAHRA, the Association, was founded over 25 years ago comprised of tribal HR leaders in the Pacific Northwest.  The founders had the foresight and wisdom knowing others across Indian Country would be interested in education, conversation and resource sharing of all things unique to the profession of Human Resources in service to Tribal governments and their enterprises.  Thus, began the NNAHRA Annual Conference held in Native properties across the U.S.  Early conference garnered less than 100 attendees, gradually growing to the nearly 700 members, guests, speakers, sponsors and special guests in 2019.

The Foundation is the result of the expansive educational and resource needs of HR professionals, leadership and governing bodies requesting support and information as we manage the complex and unique aspects of Indian Country.

NNAHRA Foundation Mission:

To provide timely and trusted information and resources to those serving and leading Tribal government and enterprises in areas of people management, employment policy development and capacity building across Indian Country.
