JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible and accountable for the leadership, management, performance and operation of the Accounting and Finance Departments, including payroll, purchasing, revenue accounting, cage, and count team. Responsible for preparing, auditing, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reporting for internal and external filings.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops and oversees financial plans, budgets, reporting, cash forecasts, internal controls, audits, and asset protection. Provides financial guidance to management, monitors performance and budget variances, supports pricing and inventory decisions, authorizes approved disbursements, prepares financial reports, and presents results to Tribal Council. Also supports business planning, succession planning, and compliance with financial and gaming audit requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma and bachelor’s degree required. Ten years of progressively responsible accounting and finance management experience in hospitality and casino gaming required. Equivalent education or experience may be considered. Must have knowledge of accounting, gaming, hotel, and food and beverage systems, Microsoft Office skills, and ability to analyze financial documents. Must be 18+, available all shifts, eligible for AZ Gaming License, and committed to guest service.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • CPA professional certification preferred.
