JOB SUMMARY:
- Conduct thorough assessments, manage routine and high-risk pregnancies, provide prenatal education, and develop individualized birth plans.
- Offer postpartum support, conduct examinations, provide breastfeeding assistance, and address physical and emotional recovery needs.
- Perform routine gynecological exams, including Pap smears, contraception counseling, and management of menopause and other gynecological conditions.
- Educate patients on reproductive health, prenatal and postpartum care, and family planning.
- Work closely with obstetricians, pediatricians, and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in midwifery practice.
- Actively participates in clinic quality improvement activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program. Certification by the American Midwifery Certification Board (AMCB).
- Valid state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN).
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Master’s degree in Nurse-Midwifery from an accredited program.
