JOB SUMMARY:

The Membership Services Director is responsible for all aspects of membership services including developing, planning, budgeting, organizing, coordinating and attending programming, activities and related events. The following departments fall under the authority of membership services; Culture, Education, Enrollment, Activities and Committee Coordination. Oversight and accountability of the Membership Services Division includes all facets of the daily operations, including, but not limited to, quality assurance; staff supervision and development; active monitoring; fiscal accountability; and comprehensive planning, organizing, scheduling, directing, and coordinating all the activities of the Division. This job description is not an all-inclusive list of the duties and responsibilities of this position. The Membership Services Director is expected to perform all duties and responsibilities necessary to meet the goals and objectives of applicable programs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Advance the strategic goals and objectives through departmental initiatives in alignment with PIIC’s Vision, Mission, and Values
  • Develop and coordinate staff development programs and management training in relation to the overall organization development. Develop and implement a workforce development plan that meets the needs of the division; develop and support employee relations initiatives and morale building programs

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field is required. Progressive supervisory experience is preferred, and consideration will be given to advanced degrees in related fields. An understanding of tribal member programs and services is required.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of progressive supervisory experience
