JOB SUMMARY:
Provide technical assistance and support to computer system, hardware and software helping users resolve issues and optimize their use of technology.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- NETWORK: Maintaining Lan and isolate and resolve network problems. Coordinate with California Area Office Indian Health Service and Telecom provider(s) to resolve WAN trouble. Maintain and update documentation of the entire network including: diagram, inventory, knowledge base.
- COMPUTER: Provide Desktop support and security for the Health Center, Yuki Trails, and FRC Indian ED Provide technical assistance to RVIHC staff. Assist in training staff for basic PC functions, Install and configure PC software packages. Maintain all PCs with with regard to antivirus, protection
- TELE-MEDICINE & Ehealth: Maintain and trouble shoot Tel-medicine devices (hardware and software) including codec’s auxiliary camera’s audio, input and output devices. Coordinate test calls for telemedicine visits, staff training, adminstrative meetings that require the use of video conferencing .
- TELEPHONE: Maintain and troubleshoot phone systems (digital and analog). Faciliate all telecommunication issues with regard to additions and changes to the existing voice and data network.
- OTHER: Research technology products to meet the expanding needs of all departments. Communicate and negotiate with vendors to achieve the best product and service prices. Web site continous maintenance. Ensure compliance with HIPAA standards for electronic date, video , fax and voice transfer.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- The requirements listed are representative of knowledge, skills and /or abilities preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher and/or combination of education and experience in computer networking and maintenance tele-communications services, and Tele-Medicine services
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 1 year of experience
