Advisory Committee Purpose
In an effort to grow, develop and advance your organization, NNAHRA formally took action on June 25, 2020 by vote of the Board of Directors to form the Advisory Committee (Group).
The purpose of this group is to provide feedback, suggestions and follow-through on NNAHRA Board assignments in matters of law, finance, marketing, public relations, education, fundraising, grant management, research and other areas of expertise the Board may call upon as it governs the association.
NNAHRA is ecstatic to have access and utilize the professional skills and recommendations to make the Association and Foundation even better for its members.
The Advisory Group members are appointed by the NNAHRA Board of Directors for two-year terms and meet and recommend as often as needed to carry out tasks and goals requested by the NNAHRA Board. Staggered terms will begin at time of Board appointment and may vary Advisor to Advisor

Michael Day
Founder & Executive Officer
TribalHub and TribalNet
Michael Day is the Founder and Executive Officer of TribalHub and TribalNet. He is also the chairperson for not-for-profit Tribal Share and the Tribal-ISAC. Prior to focusing on his current position, Michael was the CIO and Director of Technology Consulting Services for Cannery Casino Resorts, which grew from two to four gaming and hotel properties in Nevada and Pennsylvania during his tenure.
Day first gained his professional experience while working for the Sault Ste. Marie Tribe of Chippewa Indians from 1989 - 2006. As the Director of Information Technology for the Sault Tribe, Day was responsible for all of the technology infrastructure and design for the opening of five Kewadin Casino and Hotel properties and the Greektown Casino in Detroit, MI. Mike was a key executive involved in the opening of many additions to all of the Kewadin properties as well as over 25 other large Sault Tribe properties including Health Centers, a sports and fitness arena, gas stations, manufacturing businesses and large office complexes.
Throughout his career, Mike has maintained a passion for driving growth, opportunity and success. He is a founder of TribalHub, TribalNet, Tribal Share, the Tribal-ISAC and both the Native American Technology Research Center (NATRC) and the Gaming and Hospitality Research Center (GHRC).
As a member of multiple industry advisory boards, a frequent speaker at Gaming and Tribal events and a regular contributor to industry magazines, his vision and accomplishments have been recognized by many industry publications. In 2016 Day was recognized with the Lifetime Achievement Award from his industry peers and Gaming and Leisure Magazine.
Mike received his Bachelor degree in Computer Information Systems Management and Business Administration from Lake Superior State University in 1989. -
Richard McGee

Richard G. McGee is the principal attorney at the Law Office of Richard G. McGee, LLC in Plymouth, Minnesota, primarily working with tribal employers on the full range of employment related issues. Mr. McGee assists tribes with drafting employee handbooks, promulgating employment codes, performing employee investigations, representing tribes in court and consulting on employment decisions.
As part of his work with tribal employers he wrote Effective Practices for Addressing Discrimination & Harassment in the Tribal Workplace (2021), 101 Things Everyone Should Know About Tribal Employment (Xlibris 2020), Drafting Tribal Employment Laws & Handbooks (Xlibris 2020) and A Guide to Tribal Employment (Xlibris 2008). In addition to his work as an attorney, Mr. McGee serves as a Justice of the Appeals Court for the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska.
Mr. McGee was Assistant General Counsel for the Prairie Island Indian Community, which owns and operates Treasure Island Resort & Casino in Southeast Minnesota.
Before joining the Prairie Island Indian Community, Mr. McGee spent over a decade litigating business and employment cases as a lawyer at Arnold, Anderson & Dove in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Mr. McGee is a graduate of the Oklahoma University Law School located in Norman, Oklahoma. -

Rodrigo Macias is CEO and Partner of Altitude Advisory Group, a Consulting firm dedicated to Tribal Gaming and Tribal Enterprises. Rodrigo has provided risk, compliance and management consulting, and forensic accounting services to over 50 tribal casinos and over 20 Tribal Enterprises over the past 15 years. His experience includes leading compliance engagements, developing operational and fraud risk assessments and performing fraud investigations as well as providing expert witness testimony.
Rodrigo has also led engagements focused on redesigning entity-wide policies and procedures, assisting casinos in the development of an Anti-Money Laundering compliance program and risk assessments, as well as consulting on operational improvements of cash operations, revenue audit, food & beverage, marketing, hotel operations and human resources.
Lastly, Rodrigo is a featured industry speaker in national gaming conferences, including the IIA Gaming & Hospitality Conference, IIA All-Star Conference, ACFE Global Conference, Native American Finance Officers Association and National Indian Gaming Association Conference. -

Tony Chartrand is an accomplished HR Professional with 25+ years of hands-on experience in the Aerospace, Telecom and Gaming Industries with special experience in business alignment, leadership development, employee engagement and retention as well as organizational effectiveness.
His HR career includes responsibilities in the United States, Canada and Europe. He is currently Vice President Human Resources & Talent Management at Pechanga Resort & Casino .
Degreed in Business, he also holds SPHR and SPHR-SCP certifications. -
Cora Gaane

Cora Gaane is a retired banking executive with 43 years' experience in lending, financial services, philanthropy, and Tribal advocacy.
She was a pioneer in tribal gaming lending at Wells Fargo Bank (WFB) and in the banking industry. As a Tribal Advocate, Cora led various efforts to assist the Tribal community to gain access to special funding using the new market and low-income housing tax credits as well as grants. Prior to her retirement in 2020, she led the deployment of the Wells Fargo $50 Million American Indian/Alaska Native Community Philanthropy commitment.
For her long and dedicated service to the Tribal community, Cora (a Filipino immigrant) is the recipient of two “Warrior of the Year” awards from the American Indian Chamber of Commerce in California and the Native CDFI Network in DC. In addition, she was named as an “Education Champion” by the American Indian Graduate Center in New Mexico.
She serves on various advisory boards and volunteers at Tribal and Filipino events focusing on financial education, entrepreneurship, leadership and diversity. Cora served as the Executive Advisor for WFB Native People Team Member Network. She migrated from the Philippines in 1977 with her husband Robert.
