Coffee with NNAHRA and S3 Truths, Myths and Falsehoods about Workplace Mental Well-being
April 26, 2023 @ 9:00 am - 10:00 am PDT
Many employees are not ok. Why? 57.9% of employees polled say work had at least a moderate impact on their mental health. The pandemic, various cultural events, and the increasing cost of living has added enormous pressure. When these factors are mixed with other health, relationships, finances, and workplace challenges, it can feel overwhelming.
When employees struggle with overall mental well-being and stress the first indicators at work are lost productivity, absenteeism, and a negative shift in office dynamics. One-third of our lives are spent at work, which equates to roughly 90,000 hours during a lifetime. Employers must strive to equip employees with ways to create mental happiness and support in order for them to be productive and successful.
This presentation will examine workplace satisfaction and expose mental health myths surrounding the professional community. Participants will explore practical tools for improving mental well-being. A better workplace environment for employees begins with the well-being of employees.
