SUMMARY:Coffee with NNAHRA and S3 Truths\, Myths and Falsehoods about Workplace Mental Well-being
DESCRIPTION:  \nMany employees are not ok. Why? 57.9% of employees polled say work had at least a moderate impact on their mental health. The pandemic\, various cultural events\, and the increasing cost of living has added enormous pressure. When these factors are mixed with other health\, relationships\, finances\, and workplace challenges\, it can feel overwhelming.\nWhen employees struggle with overall mental well-being and stress the first indicators at work are lost productivity\, absenteeism\, and a negative shift in office dynamics. One-third of our lives are spent at work\, which equates to roughly 90\,000 hours during a lifetime. Employers must strive to equip employees with ways to create mental happiness and support in order for them to be productive and successful.\nThis presentation will examine workplace satisfaction and expose mental health myths surrounding the professional community. Participants will explore practical tools for improving mental well-being. A better workplace environment for employees begins with the well-being of employees. \nHere is the link to our Coffee with NNAHRA Session: \nhttps://global.gotomeeting.com/join/715702957

SUMMARY:Coffee with NNAHRA- Why Are They Leaving? Why Aren’t They Working?
DESCRIPTION:How to retain employees and avoiding “quiet quitting” by those who stay\nThe cheapest and most effective way to reduce your hiring costs is to retain existing workers. The cheapest way to get workers to be more productive and reduce your need to hire more workers to get the work done is to address the issue of “quiet quitting” – workers who do the bare minimum when at work.\nSo how should you start in achieving those things? Start by asking yourself: How would my workers respond if asked\, “Would you recommend working here to a friend or relative”? Not knowing the answer to that is a problem. A real problem.\nThis fast paced\, information and guidance rich 45-minute with a 15-minute Q&A Coffee With NNAHRA webinar provides real world\, practical guidance on:\n• How to determine the root causes of why workers might or are leaving you – and – why some workers do so little that you are forced to hire more people to get the work done.\n• How to employ best practices in recruiting\, screening\, interviewing\, and onboarding to make you an employer of choice – and workers wanting to stay with you.\n• How to employ HR metrics\, including dashboards and scorecards\, to measure trends and identify problem areas before they become retention nightmares.\n• How to use pulse and employee life cycle surveys to take corrective actions and head off resignations.\n• How to implement low cost but effective measures to keep employees loyal to your organization.
