SUMMARY:Tribal Adjudication Professional Certification ( TAP)
DESCRIPTION:**Registration Link will be provided 90 days prior to event**  \nTAP Certification\, a 3-day program\, will educate participants on the applicable laws and regulators regarding the background check & and adjudication process specific to tribal governments/enterprises. Participants will understand how to gather and review information to assess the suitability of the job candidates covered under applicable laws\, regulations\, and tribal codes/policies. The curriculum is targeted at legal\, law enforcement\, HR\, and education professionals. Certification is obtained by completing a prerequisite online module that reviews applicable laws & regulations. In-person attendance is required with attendance verified each of the three days. A 50-question exam is taken on the 3rd day of the session with a required pass rate of 65%. Certification is maintained by taking a minimum of 24 hours of NNAHRA-approved educational programs every two years. Others may attend

DESCRIPTION:**Registration Link will be provided 90 days prior to event** \nNNAHRA and Drummond Woodsum have joined forces once again to provide more of the Tribal Human Resources Professional (THRP) training that HR Professionals have come to benefit from and enjoy. \nJoin us for THRP II! This 3.5 day course builds on the concepts covered in THRP I and provides HR Professionals with in depth legal and practical knowledge and skills to help them handle the unique employment challenges facing tribal governments and their enterprises. The topics covered in THRP II include the legal and practical issues related to hiring\, onboarding\, employee privacy\, employee benefits\, employment contracts/agreements\, and HR ethics\, as well as the way in which these issues are affected by sovereignty and sovereign immunity. \nThis workshop will provide lectures and group exercises to reinforce learning. Its goal is to provide an understanding of many of the underlying laws and practical and concrete solutions to the challenges that HR professionals face daily.
